Stumbled across Hillfield Farm on route. Carvery was faultless and delicious. Great little indoor play area for the under five’s with a selection of grab machines too. Service was really good. Shout out to Ross, nothing was too much trouble.

Great place to eat on a Sunday that's always clean with nice staff. The food is well cooked meat and fresh. Beef Lasagne could have been more hot in the middle as it came out fast last weekend.

Last night there was three of us having dinner, the service was good the meals were nice and hot, we spoke to Sarah lovely friendly person and thanked her and the other staff were friendly doing there job well done and thank you for a nice evening makes a difference when you have a nice meal and friendly staff.

Very disappointed.
Ordered Pigs in Blankets as a side, was very sad to find out that was a singular (fairly small) pig in blanket. Sweetcorn was gross.
The cakes are good and the servers were friendly. Although a few things were missed from our order.

Always long waits to be served

Plenty of veg though

My family and I attended last Tuesday after a funeral and we had a wonderful time. They accommodated for the 14 of us and the service was fantastic. I'd like to say a big thank you to Victoria and those also on shift for your warmth and generosity! I hope I get the chance to visit again!!

Awesome carvery and i like that the tables are spaced out and a great atmosphere , carvery standard is brilliant and for the larger eaters the large carvery is awesome value

Dropped in for a meal mid week no probs getting seated. We went for a small cavery x3.
We waited at the counter to be served food 8 minuites.
The chef was in and out of the kitchen with replacement foods, which sounds good but not at the cost of customers waiting a long time to be served.
Finally! We got served. Sat to eat the carvery and it really wasnt good.
Meat ok ( apart from beef) chewy.
Roasters , carrots and stuffing rubbery and bland and the gravey really thick and pasty.
We all ate minimal and left our meals.
I politely informed a member of staff that the food was very poor, and told her i was not after any freebie, i really didnt want it.
She was a little shirty and replied im the first to complain. Firstly, so what if i was. But secondly a man came over to our table and said that was untrue 3 other tables had complained.
When i informed her of this she quickly replied "well not to me".did she really think that was ok or did she really not give a damn i think the later.
Not even " can i get you a coffee or tea. She just looked put out and said " sorry about that".
I would have liked for her to say ill make enquires with the ither staff and find out if they have had comllaints but no just well sorry about that. Really i dont think she cared.
Bad service and terrible food.

Went on a Sunday afternoon. Booking is recommend . The food and service was very good. Will go again.
